does any body know how to test a cdi box on a 1995 trophy 1200 before I bye a new one please thanks gary

This forum is devoted to the "new" Trophy so I'm not sure who else will join in on this thread. Fortunately I've never had a CDI fail on any of my bikes. When helping others the only method I used was the eliminate everything else and find a known good CDI box as a test substitute. But you might find the attached helpful. In video the guy says he doesn't know if it is possible to test but another articles say yes, the third says maybe.

These have been known to have transistors fail, they can be replaced. There is info on the Tiger Triple forum.
