Hi all,

New to this forum. Purchased my trophy in November now have 10k on the clock.

I'm interested in any info on servicing the trophy, such as dealer diagnostic tools needed etc, . I have been servicing my other bike an st1300 now with 155k on it. The pan is very simple to work on, but the trophy seems a bit more complicated.....

Also where do we stand in the UK regarding warranty claims if self serviced or having the bike serviced by a small independent garage, which would be another option?  :821:

Any advice welcome :001:

There are a few members from Kent which may be worth getting in touch with.

Hi there and welcome to the gang :400:

Lots of great advice on here, not sure about the warranty issue and self servicing here in the UK... you will have to read the small print

For things to look for you might want to do a search for Dealertool... good bit of kit for diagnostics and testing.... when you can get it to work!

also look here common checks

And this might help too as a new purchase checklist

Enjoy your bike!

Hi njstriumph and  :400:  to the Club !

Ditto everything already said !

I think I am correct in saying that n the UK
a vehicle manufacturer can NOT decline a Warranty Claim
on the grounds that the vehicle has not been serviced
by one of their Dealers, or even if Non-manufacturer branded
Parts are used, provided anyone that does carry out such work
is competent to do so, completes the work in accordance with
the Manufacturer's schedule, and specifications,
and uses parts of a comparable quality to those of the manufacturer   :169:

The Service Manual is available to buy from your Triumph Dealer
and the DealerTool already mentioned will also be very useful
but does have its limitations !
