Run A Round with Cylinder head replacement in Australia
« on: May 14, 2014, 07:13:42 am »
Gents, I am still getting the run around with my dealer in Australia with regards to the cylinder head replacement for my bike.
I think I have a case and want the work done and have drafted a e-mail to send.
Who is the best person to e-mail it too?

Finally a result. Cylinder head will be replaced by Peter Stevens in Dandenong, Melbourne.
They have done 2 x bikes and are more then happy to do the work and have ordered the parts for the work to be done in mid June.
Thanks for the advise people. :046: :046: :046: :046: :046: :046: :046:

Incredible you had to go through this, especially when the TSB says that all that is needed is a customer complaint.  My bike was at the dealer for an unrelated problem and I merely called and the dealer said no problem, did the work.

I had enough yesterday and sent an e-mail out to the world at 4.12pm and had a response from Triumph Australia at 4.18pm and case numbers from Triumph Central Warranty uk & Triumph UK Subsidiary by 606pm last night.
My stealer has been telling porky pies and didn't think it was a issue and just keep leading me on.
Thanks Triumph as my faith has been restored.   :047: :046: :047: :152: :046: :152: :047:

Hi FROSTY,
I sent off 2 emails to Chris @ Triumph Australia and one to Peter Stevens and never heard a reply from either.
I even offered to ride down to Melbourne so they could diagnose the bike which was getting worse each time I rode it.

Wasn't a happy chappy because at the time we also lost our local Triumph dealership.
All water under the bridge now.
