Mud guard extension
« on: May 14, 2014, 07:22:25 pm »
Can anyone confirm if the rear spray guard(mudguard extension)is fitted on new 2014 SE models free or do I have to pay the extra £30?

I've seen a couple of topic on rear hungers but before I look at purchasing would like members opinion.  :440:
1st bike Yamaha DT125, 2nd bike Yamaha XV535 Virago 3rd bike Honda CBR 1000 F, 4th bike Honda Hornet 600 (story to tell) 5th bike Suzuki B-King 1300, 6th bike Suzuki GSX1250 FA. Then comes the cream of them all the TTSE in Blue the best colour in my opinion ....... :-)

My 2014 Trophy was built in July of 2013 and it DID NOT have the extension so I bought one. It is my understanding that the 2014 with later build dates has the extension already installed. Apparently it is a mid year change. My dealer sold one to me at a reduced price because of this.

My 2014 SE has the extension. If I remember right it was built in September 2013.

I had to buy mine for £30, but I must say it's very effective.

My Trophy registered in January 2014 does not have the mud guard extender(spray guard). I have looked at Triumph accessory suppliers websites and no one shows the part. If. I contact them what part do I. quote?
