Amazing
« on: May 19, 2014, 09:18:11 pm »
I'm just back from a weekend of riding. We probably did 650 to 700 miles total. I continue to be amazed at what a magnificent motorbike this Trophy is!
My mother asked what I wanted to be when I grew up. I said "a biker". She said I'd have to choose one or the other.

I only did about 600 km myself, but I can't disagree with you. It's an excellent motorcycle. I rode through a couple kms of cloudburst rain so I can now attest to the watertightness of the panniers and top box.
I am also pleased with how well the bike handles on the sopping wet roads.

I too had some heavy rain, a few hours worth. The top case and panniers were tight and it's just great in the rain!

Cropbiker, y'all can keep the fog over there. I remember when I was a kid and my dad was stationed @ Mildenhall AFB, the fog was so terrible at times you couldn't see 5 feet in front of you. I remember my dad cursing every time he had to drive in it to go to work. Lol!!!!

That will be because Mildenhall is down in the swamps where the bog people live!  :745:
