Greetings from Aberdeen, Scotland
« on: May 23, 2014, 06:23:47 pm »
Hey all, just found this forum while looking for accessories for my Trophy. I've had my Trophy SE since April last year having had a Sprint ST since 2008. Some may wonder why I changed from the ST but due to an old right shoulder injury it was stopping me doing long journeys as the shoulder would seize up after a good days riding to the point it was painful on the return leg. Thankfully the cruise control has eliminated that issue and I can easily do 200 miles in a day without issue   :062: as I don't have to keep the arm in the one place to maintain throttle.

Anyway, the Trophy has been excellent and other than the ECU recall and the option to return it to Hinckley for the engine 'rattle' which I did I have had no issues.

Looking forward to chatting with you all.

Hi Derek. Welcome to the club! Great people with plenty of experience and advice...

As you are in the UK, at least for a while longer, there are a couple of meets on the horizon you might be interested in.

Firstly, Trophyman12 is trying to arrange a meet at the Ponderosa cafe on the Horseshoe pass but dates not yet confirmed. See here

Also, I have arranged a VIP tour of the Vulcan at Robin Hood Airport, South Yorks with a photoshoot of our bikes in front of the aircraft on Friday, 20th June. Either or both would be a great way to meet up with a few of your fellow UK Trophy owners!
See here

Appreciate they are a fair way from you but worth extending the invite!

Welcome!

Welcome to the Forum Derek. :400:  I too have an ST although a 955 ST.  I couldn't bear to part with mine so I kept it and sold my Thruxton in order to help pay for the Trophy.
