Hi!  Purchased my new trophy during a trip when my old bike broke down.  So far I really like this bike. :)
It looks like I have purchased an early model  (Jan 2013)  serial number 582814.  What recalls should I be concerned with?

Hi atrophy and  :400: to the Club !

Your Dealer should be able to tell you which Recalls apply to your specific bike,
and which have been done or need doing.

There was a fuel tank Safety Recall in the U.S. for Trophy & Trophy SE's in VIN Range 568259-601621,
manufactured from September 2012 through to March 2013, so you should have had this one done ....
( The two layers used in the construction of the fuel tank may have failed to adhere,
which may result in a fuel leak ).

There was an Engine Control Module ( ECM ) Safety Recall No. 505 issued in January 2014,
that applied to VIN's from 561284 to 637165, so you should have already had that done.
( Triumph Dealers were instructed to complete this Recall
on any bike's in their showroom before releasing them for sale ).

There was a Centre Stand Safety Recall No. 508 affecting VINS 561284 to 590855,
which involved the addition of a black painted stop bracket - fixed to the rear left lower engine mounting bolt,
so you will be able to see if this has been done - if not then it should be !

There was a Valve Train Noise TSB - Up to VIN 584030 was Repair Code 91152808, which you may have had done,
or if your Valve Train seems noisy ( a noticable "Chirping" sound at idle seems to be one of the symptoms ),
you can apply to your Dealer have it done.

There was also a very early Gear lever position TSB - No. 486
but I don't have any details of VIN's affected for that, so it's another check with the Dealer.

Hope these help  :028:
