D Day Anniversary
« on: June 06, 2014, 10:17:44 pm »
On this, the 70th anniversary of the D Day landings.

A salute to the 1,000s of men who gave all they had to give to guarantee us many of the freedoms we have today.

Your sacrifice will never be in vain!

My wife and I were at Omaha Beach, Juneau Beach, and the American Cemetery the last week of May and it was an experience that would make anyone grateful for their life, whatever their station happens to be.  As a Viet Nam vet it was moving.  Thanks to all the Brits, French, and especially Canadians for their massive sacrifices.
