Hi

I just bought an ex demo blue one, I couldn't get on with my Limited Edition Sprint GT which I only had 3 months from new.  Bit of a financial stretch, but looking forward to riding it.  The clincher was that the wife loves it!

I road tested a R1200RT last week and it felt like driving a tractor...

Sounds like you ha d a lucky escape.... you could have liked the BMW enough to buy it!!! LOL

The Trophy is a great bike.... had a few teething issues but fingers crossed they are all in the past...Triumph have done a good job at sorting them...

Welcome and congrats on the right choice. Hope you enjoy the bike as much as people on this forum.

As Cropbiker says. Lots of great info on the site. Look into the "How To " for excellent step by step info for carrying tasks on the bike.

Hi welcome. i also tested the Rt and trophy and for me the pricing is wrong way round !
Had mine less than 2 weeks - 900 miles and I Love it. I have found loads of useful info on here. Welcome from a fellow Newbie
