Introducing myself
« on: June 08, 2014, 02:14:12 pm »
Hi
Thanks for letting me join your forum.

I own a motorcycle training school in Sandhurst, Berkshire teaching all levels of rider from CBT's through to full licence and post test.

I have been riding bikes for near 40 years starting off on a PW50 as a small child. I have just purchased my TT after the last 10 years riding a Blackbird (which I still own). I also have a Honda Hornet '07 plate.

I must say the TT is far more comfortable and now I have covered 700 miles on her since last Tuesday (5 day ago) the bike has had its 1st service and will be taking me to Germany next Thursday so we can get fully acquainted.

Hi Stu from a fellow newbie also with 800 miles on the clock. Really pleasant and helpful forum this one. As a riding guru be interested in your views on the slow riding ability and gearbox on the new bike. Friend of mine went from a balckbird to an explorer and was blown away by the relative performance of the 1200 triumph engine.
Hope you enjoy your new bike as much as I have
