Hi all.  I am new, so if this isn't right let me know.   After riding BMWs since 98 I decided to try the new Trophy 1215.   So far so good, like the bike, love the motor, hate the seat!

Hi nervouswreck and  :400:  to the Club !

... if this isn't right let me know ...
Switching from BMW ...... Can't see anything wrong there  :153:  :028:

There's a whole topic discussing Rider's seat options here : Rider's seat options

There are choices of High or Low, Heated or Non heated, Comfort or Standard etc,
and then there are other seat makers such as Corbin etc, so I'm sure you'll find something that suits  :169:

Thanks Coconut.   The bike came with the "low seat", the dealer ordered a comfort seat for me to try but haven't got there yet (been raining).   Several guys including myself have a trip planned for Sept. to ride from Pennsylvania  to Utah so I must come  up with an alternative.

Hi Nervous.... welcome to the site :401:

I am sure you will find loads of information on this site to help you make a decision on your Trophy.....

Of course the only real decision is Silver or blue..... but even that isn't a real decision.... Blue obviously! :745:

Have a hunt around and if you can't find an answer then ask away.... someone will have an answer.

I wasn't happy with the stock seat. I tried the comfort seat which didn't work for me either. Solution? Stock seat with an Air hawk R cushion. I can ride for hours. Not the answer for everyone, but my bony butt loves it.

Welcome to the Forum :400:  the seat has been a bit controversial with many differing opinions.  I find it ok but not spectacular.  Surprisingly I prefer the seat on my Sprint ST

2001 Sprint 955 ST
