Dunlop Roadsmart II
« on: June 13, 2014, 06:20:33 pm »
I used these on my Kawasaki GTR (Concours) and really liked them.

I bought a 2013 TTSE and it didn't handle like the new demonstrator did so I just went and put a pair of the Roadsmarts on.

Anyone else use these or have experience of them on the TTSE?

I tried a set of Roadsmart II's.  I liked the feedback and they felt pretty grippy, but they only lasted 4500 miles.  I am now using Pirelli Angel GT's, and have over 5000 miles on current set.  They look like they will go atleast 2000 more miles, and they perform just as well as the Roadsmart II's.  FYI:  I do not ride in the rain much, so I cannot report on wet weather performance for either tire.

If you did not ride in the rain much where I live you would not ride much at all!

I think he meant, he doesn't ride in the rain much because it doesn't rain much. He's from Nevada. Same as here in El Paso...we're lucky if we get 6 inches of rain...a year.

It was my attempt at humour.  Got 6,000 miles on the Roadsmarts and they are looking OK.  Work great too.
