Hi mad... Have they given you any possible reason behind the seized rear calliper? Have you had to ride through any particularly crappy conditions?

No , don't ride it in winter especially when salt is on ground , they said it looked clean but was seized solid on slides.
Unfortunately when they freed it off noticed mounting was fractured so landed up changing the drive shaft rear unit as well as rear caliper
All done under warranty could not have asked for more off dealer who carried out work.
Will have to take back in few weeks as they did not have time to change air filter and diagnosed warped front disc's so will do these jobs when I take it back.

When you say felt like warped discs what symptom are you describing?  Do you mean a periodic grabbing of the brakes as if the disc were out of round?  I've had that symptom since the bike was new but it is so very minor that I've never bothered to do anything about it.

Hi w8d4it

Yes as the front wheel rotates the pads grab the discs were they are warped it is more noticeable at low speed,When i phoned dealer all I had to say was have you had problems with warping he just took my details without question so he could order,So it sound like Hinckley know about it
