any one got any idea if there is an after market rack that can be fitted to the top box so that a tent can be strapped on

If you click the "SEARCH" Button, ( a really useful but under-used tool ! )
and type in "Top Box Rack", you will get several "hits", such as this one :

. I have a Agnes seedhouse 2 and it fits into the side bags. (with some minor squishing) For the price of a rack, mabey change the tent. (opps I was thinking again).

Yes its a good quality tent, great in the cold weather with a good quality sleeping bag and a mondoking thermarest to insulate you from the ground.
