Bike back from Hinckley
« on: June 27, 2014, 02:05:05 pm »
Hi all, bike finally back from Hinckley, no paperwork as to what they have done but noticed a big difference in throttle response. Maybe they tweaked that too. Apart from that no real difference and a bit annoyed as to what they have done. Well, I know what they did but would have liked some paperwork to clarify things.

gfx

Hi I felt the same way as I had heard some folks had new this and that. Mine was just fixed :008:.

I did call Triumph customer service to see if they had any more info. They said the bike had gone thru the factory as usual and all work carried out. You should have a letter to keep with your service book.

The bike has been ok since tho so not too worried.

You should get a letter from triumph detailing what has been done to put with you service book. Mine arrived about a week after i got the bike back.

Yep same here. Letter in the post a few days later giving details of everything that has been done.

In my case they also replaced the whole shaft drive unit although when I checked it before sending it I couldn't see any corrosion at all!!

It had the head work done, centre stand fettle and the new ECU as well. All has been rosie since.

Dave.
Trust me......
I ride a Triumph.
