My new wheels
« on: July 01, 2014, 06:49:31 am »
Hi all,
Took delivery of my new Trophy last Friday, and of course, being the photographer that I am, had to go and shoot some nice images of it on Sunday night as the sun was setting.
For those who are interested, feel free to check out the images here:

Hi audio2u!
Great photos!
But it helps having such a good subject!

(Although a blue one would have been nicer!)

Thanks for the kind words, guys.
I've noticed quite a bit of (hopefully, good-natured) ribbing going on about blue vs silver.
I think they both look awesome.... but I'd love to do a custom spray job, just too be different!

Congrats on the new bike audio2u! Sounds like it impressed you with the test ride like about 99% of the people on here. And I still can't see how they say the BMW R1200RT is better. I've ridden both and the Beemer wasn't near the bike it was hyped up to be. :152:

Atvtinker, I'm really pleased to hear you say that, 'cause I felt exactly the same! Admittedly, I rode them about 4 months apart (the Beemer 4 months ago, the Trophy last week), but I don't recall being particularly impressed with the 1200RT. At least, not like I THOUGHT I'd be! Ultimate Driving Machine(tm)? Nah, don't think so. It was nice, but it wasn't mind blowing. The Trophy (as I wrote on my blog) just impressed me from the minute I pulled away from the dealership.
