Service Manual
« on: July 01, 2014, 06:42:49 pm »
Might be a silly question, but anyone know where I can get a copy of the service manual?  Will my Triumph dealer sell it ?

thanks

We have a pretty good search tool which you may find useful in finding out information such as this.  A quick search reveals

I bought mine from my local dealer. A little expensive, over $100 CDN.

Absolutely correct!   :028:  Given that I'm a big advocate of supporting your dealer (and related to a Triumph dealer as well) I can't believe that I forgot to mention the dealership.

I had information from Coconut on the same question. I received mine yesterday £80 plus postage. from Triumph world. If you go on theie website I phoned them and made sure I got the correct one. Have your reg number handy and Vin number they will check for correct manual.

So mine is now waiting for me when I get home next week.

hope this helps

Just a quick note to remind Service Manual owners that they can check here :
Owners, Audio, and Service Handbooks + Service Manual errata
for a list of ( mainly typographical ) errors found in these Publications.

Triumph have been been advised of all of them to date, for amendment in future publications.

Feel free to let me know if you find any more and I'll add them to the list  :169: !

Someone posted a link a few months back to a place that sells the SM for $50.  I purchased one and while I'm sure its a copy, it a nice copy :002:  This is OK with me given that I like to have an electronic copy (for searching and I often use a tablet in my garage) of my SMs and this version of the SM has loose pages with a plastic binder, i.e., I can remove the binder and copy the pages.
