I am a new owner of a 1996 trophy 1200, and it has the same issue as most have. The CDI has gone bad. I want to fix mine. I have been repairing pc boards for years. it appears that only the capacitor is bad. I need the schematics for a 1290070....  :440:

You might check in on the Triumph Rat forum where there is a specific forum for your version of the Trophy.  This forum is dedicated to the new Triumph Trophy 1200, although all are welcome.  Someone on this forum may actually have what you need, though I would think the other forum would be your best bet.

Hi W2... good luck with your search... I remember having that same problem with my Daytona 1200... as mentioned, someone in here might be able to help but you maybe better off in the other forum which is more dedicated to the older model...
