Hi from Wisconsin
« on: July 29, 2014, 03:36:50 am »
Just joined the forum but haven't bought a new Trophy - yet.  I've got 6 Triumphs now including a 2000 Trophy 900, 2001 Bonneville, 1996 Tiger, 1998 Thunderbird Sport, 2007 Tiger 1050, and a 2013 Street Triple R.  I seem to have a problem trading my bikes in when I get a different one!  I've been on the fence on buying a new Trophy mainly because of its size and some of the teething issues I have been reading about.  I've also been waiting for some other color options since I already have a Pacific Blue Trophy 900 and my Street Triple R is Phantom Black.  I'll pass 40 years of riding this month so maybe it's time to get a bike that is a little more comfortable.  I look forward to the information that is available on this forum.

Pete

Welcome to the forum, Pete!  You will find this forum is the best source of info for the new Trophy.  Do a search for any subject you want to know about, and it's probably here somewhere.  And, most important - make plans for a test ride!  But be ready to buy one on the spot; you've been warned!

Hi triumphtrophyrider and  :400:  to the Forum !

A test ride is a MUST - you will find the new Trophy to be quite different from your Trophy 3,
and you will simply fall in love with it and want to buy one !

The Lunar Silver colour is being discontinued, but there is a rumour that "Champagne Gold"
will be available before too long - not known when, or if this is what the colour will actually be called.

Stay safe on all your rides  :028:

Welcome,
The teething issues are finished. In fact the baby teeth are gone and there's an adult set of pearly whites in place.
My mother asked what I wanted to be when I grew up. I said "a biker". She said I'd have to choose one or the other.
