FS: Corbin Seat for Triumph Trophy SE
« on: August 02, 2014, 07:23:42 pm »
I wish to sell a beautiful, nearly new Corbin Dual Touring saddle with HEAT in silver carbon fiber w/silver thread, vinyl (#T-TRY-13-E). I am also including the Corbin rider backrest (#02-SB). (See the attached photos.)

I bought this seat in April from another forum member. After trying it out on a long weekend tour, I decided that it doesn't quite suite me.

List prices are $593 for the seat + $218 for the backrest = $811.

I am asking only $550 for seat with backrest, or $500 for seat alone, including ground shipping within the US.

Please contact me via private mail through the forum with your phone number or email address and I'll contact you a.s.a.p.

Don, Can you tell me what you didn't like about the seat?

Hi Zeakers,

I'm a big guy and the seat is just too narrow for me and thus I don't get quite enough support.  A more slender person might find it quite satisfactory.

Is the back rest adjustable?
Happy to be riding!

The backrest is removable and the angle of the pad can be adjusted slightly.

Nice looking seat for the silver one.  This is a really good buy for anyone interested in the standard height aftermarket seat, and I can tell you from experience on an R1200RT that after some miles of break-in (2000 or so) the Corbin is a pretty comfortable seat, and the backrest is very nice although it may intrude on some passenger space.

Hi BigCountry,

I still have the Corbin seat in storage and would definitely like to sell it.

The backrest can be easily removed if the pillion passenger needs more space.
