Broad helmet
« on: August 18, 2014, 01:08:23 am »
I have a broad and 'round' head. My current helmet is xxl although my head measurement is 60.5 cm. it is still too narrow. Retailers in the UK don't seem to be into head shape only size. I need a flip-up to even get a helmet on. Has anybody any advice on which helmets I should try?

Trevor, two suggestions that might help. First, I had to order thinner cheek pads for my Nolan N-104. That solved the problem for me.

Second, I really appreciate the reviews on revzilla.com. They have videos comparing brands and models within brands. Note these are descriptive not critiques. They only point out features available on each.  They are aware of head shape issues in those reviews. I've found them a good source of information. (A customer no other connection.)
If you don't go when you wanta go, when you do go you'll find you've gone.
