Lean Indicators
« on: August 30, 2014, 05:55:59 pm »
On the way back from the Lancaster trip I was enjoying myself and grounded the foot peg bits (hero blobs) down hard on two roundabouts and they make a very loud scraping noise.  I was surprised how loud the scraping was the bike was very stable and felt it would lean a lot further.  I am on angel GTs.  The noise was so loud I was thinking of taking the blobs off but titanium ones with sparks flying off would look dramatic.

LOL.... Well done John.... but then you didn't have your panniers on and fully laden did you so perhaps you ended up leaning a little more than usual

Could this be the reason why the pegs were catching?, top heavy.

Used to scrape the foot pegs all the time on my Bonneville but I'm too old for that stuff now.

Did you make them all "disappear" ?  :745:
