Radiator Fans
« on: September 06, 2014, 05:36:14 pm »
Hi all. Last december I had one of the radiator fans replaced as it had siezed. Last night the TT overheated, dumped coolant on the path from the overflow outlet then cooled down. Upon inspection today the other fan has now siezed. More warranty work and another day off the road I fear. Has anyone else had this problem?  :157:

First I've heard of this kind of problem.  My Trophy has cooled perfectly from day one.

Not experienced that problem either... Even when in heavy traffic in South Of France in mid summer cooling was perfect and never went above 5 of 8 of the 'blobs'

Could easily hear the fans cutting in and out as needed.

Hi All. Its a sad day for me. The TTSE has to go. Ive given it a chance but after all the problems Ive had and now the radiator fan siezing, I have no confidence to go any distance. She will be gone in the next couple of weeks. Its a real shame. Thanks to all who have had an input to the problems Ive had.  :152:
