Which is more powerful?

My mother asked what I wanted to be when I grew up. I said "a biker". She said I'd have to choose one or the other.

Now I'm no "spotter" ( I don't even OWN a "macintosh" raincoat ),
but a question has been asked,  so .....

The train is more powerful.

The power plant would appear to be a 131.36 Litre, V12, Four Stroke Diesel Electric, with Max RPM 1000,
and 4 x DC Traction motors, having a power output of 1800 hp / 1340 kW,
compared to the Trophy Power output of 98.5 kW.

.... but I know which one I'd rather be riding on  :169:

Isn't "more powerful" a relative term?  In other words I think a power to weight ratio calculation is in order. Given your knowledge Coconut that looks right up your alley.

Oi - You can stop that ! - Looking up my alley - How rude  :153:

The calculation is easy enough, if someone were to provide details of the weight of the train ! :028:
