In the hunt
« on: September 16, 2014, 07:53:42 pm »
I am a former 1100RT rider that found the TTSE at my local dealer.  I was out with my wife looking at another type of bike when the sales guy showed me the Triumph.  I haven't had a chance to take a demo ride yet but based on what I am reading I will not be disappointed.  I am planning on making the purchase within the next couple of months. Can't wait to get back on a bike and better yet, my wife is excited too!

I traded my 1150RT for the Trophy and have never looked back. The 1100 and 1150 RTs are great bikes, but the Trophy is better.

Halo Pilot  :401: I have been riding RTs since 98 when I bought a 96 Glacier Green and they are very very good bikes.   The biggest reason for me buying the Triumph was the problems BMW has been having with the newer model RTs.   First the final drives and now the rear shocks.   But now that I have the Trophy I really doubt I will go back to the RT again it is a wonderful bike.   But I hate to say never.

Welcome.
I recommend you take your check book along when you do a demo ride. You'll need it.
My mother asked what I wanted to be when I grew up. I said "a biker". She said I'd have to choose one or the other.
