Just recently the Iron Butt Association had their AGM in Denver and look what bike they used for their t.shirt, an interesting colour too.

Not sure I like the orange but I do like the bike they selected.  I'm IBA member, wonder why I didn't hear about the meeting.  Bad communication?

Maybe someone in IBA leadership has an inside contact with Triumph and they're planning to bring out a Trophy in a burnt-orange color similar to the BMW K1600. A friend bought one of them and the color does look really nice.

The IBA forum had all the information.  As a Premium Member I get eMails inviting me to attend.  Premium Membership is $40 p/a and you get a great quarterly magazine with all things safe LD riders relate to.

I ate with Mike Kneebone last Saturday in Stuttgart at the presentation for the first European Tour, there were five IBA presidents attending (Germany, Ireland, UK, Finland and of course Mike).

The TTSE is a great bike for IBA rides.

I guess I don't participate enough.  I've been certified on a couple of rides.  Done a couple of others but haven't bothered to send in the paper work.  I didn't realize that the monies I paid for previous rides didn't keep me in the loop.
