Knee Pads
« on: September 18, 2014, 07:44:00 pm »
I find my knees do not grip the 'tank' on my TTSE.

Anyone find this? Any solution?  Do Triumph offer rubber knee grips for the TTSE?

If you do a search on tank bags for trophy you will see the ones that cropbiker and I have fitted to our bikes. They do help to grip a bit but my main reason for fitting was to protect the tank.

Hi Dave..... have a look on nippynormans.com and look for the RT1200RT tank pads they have there.... they fit the TTSE pretty well....

How thick are they?  I guess I need 20 to 25mm but suspect these are a lot less than that?

Should have had a sit on Cropbikers bike when we met at Just Janes do.

I also have these.  This is the manufactures web site.  I called them and they sent me small sample pieces so I could decide which material I wanted.  As mentioned in a previous post, Twisted Throttle carries this brand, or you can but direct.
