TTSE in green, Brooklands green, like the Truxton.
« on: September 22, 2014, 12:21:53 pm »
Hallo all, I was thinking to make my TTSE green. More specific: Brooklands green, like the Truxton, in combination with small yellow or gold lines.

I have seen red TT in the USA, black in Spain, R1200RT gray, but how should the TT looks if it was old school green.
Triumph haze chosen for the Truxton “Brooklands green” but it could also be British racing green. Anybody an idea, suggestion?

If I google at Brookland green, I find MG’s Triumph TR7, British racing green: Jaguar's etc.
To me I do not see much difference, but that is of course on a PC screen.
Brookland green is of course a Triumph own colour.

Yes! many Thanks Coconut.
I love this forum.
Pacific Blue is so 2014......

1)
And now Coconut, now we are "on speaking terms”; where can I find the explication on the site, regarding your (nick) name?
2)
I have seen your post regarding the extra silver mirrors. As you noticed, the E-bay seller won’t sell to the USA. I know now, he will not sell even to The Netherlands. pity.

There is a huge difference between Brooklands green and British Racing Green.  I have a 2001 Triumph Sprint 955 ST in BRG and it is absolutely beautiful.  I receive compliments on it nearly everytime I ride it even though it is 13 years old.  On the other hand I've seen a number of Thruxtons in Brooklands and feel it is one of Triumph's worst colors.  I strongly suggest you look at the two colors side by side.

I was just thinking about how the Trophy would look in green.  Thanks for the pic.  Sporty and gorgeous.
