Hi to all...!
« on: October 01, 2014, 08:52:16 pm »
Hi everyone,
originally looking at buying a new Kwak GTR for a Euro trip next year and noticed the local dealer put a BMW in the Trumpet stand...! being nosey I had a quick peek and thought this thing looks a bit tasty so we test rode a 2nd hand one of these too.
Long story cut short - - - picked up our brand new [silver] Trophy SE on Tuesday and now 400 miles into the running-in process, very impressed with JB's work at Triumph and have no complaints so far  :002:
Didn't like the SatNav bracket as my Garmin 550 will blank out some of the display so I've bolted it to the blanked mirror plug on the front brake clamp, a bit of jiggery-pokery and it looks/works fine!
Had a bit of rain in North Devon today so tomorrow will be spent cleaning :015:
Looking forward to happy times ahead :046:

Hi Steve and welcome! A great forum :400:

If you have a look through the GPS and audio threads you should find a couple of threads on fitting the Garmin 550 to the standard Triumph mount which don't cover the info panel
Triumph Trophy! Not for every Tomaz, Dieter or Herman!🇬🇧

Welcome. Don't worry the silver one is almost as fast as the blue one.
My mother asked what I wanted to be when I grew up. I said "a biker". She said I'd have to choose one or the other.

Welcome to the group & congrats on the purchase!  The silver ones tend to get out more often - good choice!
