Got a letter in the mail today telling me I had a 90 day trial.  Called and had it turned on, so I guess there was a free trial, it just took XM a while to get it set up.

I haven't got that letter yet. My dealer did wanted to send stuff in so I could the 3 free months on the day I picked up the bike. I said no then I found out they wanted $15.00 a month. That kinda finished it for me. IPod works for what I want.

I would be grateful if someone could let me know what an 'XM Satellite' actually is! I'm guessing that it's some sort of satellite radio service available in the USA. Could anyone describe it in more detail?
    Thanks!
