New to Trophy
« on: October 10, 2014, 10:16:18 am »
Hi everyone, I joined the forum a month ago (being very impressed by the content), and picked up my 2013 Trophy three weeks ago (with a special thanks to the previous owner - the bike is immaculate). The intention was to trade in my Sprint ST - but I love it too much, along with my rusty 2cv. I have just returned to Scotland after a 2000 mile trip to France. I never realised that a bike could be this comfortable, although heavy for an old man on a slippery road with pillion and other baggage! I have been guilty of reading from the forum more than contributing, but that is because I consider myself a learner, and not a teacher - hopefully this will change over time.

Good to see you had a good long trip on the TT. I have a big un (trip) coming up to Southern Island and like a dog with huge danglies waiting for the day we set off & like you cant believe how comfy the TTSE is.

Looking forward (If ya fancy it) to seeing your trip report and how and where you went to.

Welcome. Sounds like a great trip. I'm head off on a long journey today. Here in New England winter is coming soon and that means snow and lots of it. Not much riding then.
We look forward to hearing more from you.
My mother asked what I wanted to be when I grew up. I said "a biker". She said I'd have to choose one or the other.

Welcome! As a friend said to me last weekend as he checked out my Trophy; "why aren't these more popular?"

Welcome to the Forum :400:  You are a man after my own heart.  Exactly so in fact.  I too have both a Sprint ST (955) and the Trophy.  I have had that Sprint for 13 years and it has taken me all over North America.  Even to Alaska.  I couldn't bear to part with it.
