My US model 2013 Trophy's tank took exactly 25 liters (6.603 US gallons) when I ran it totally dry last year.

The USA version of the TTSE is 25 liters /6.6 USA gallons. Most other countries have a  26.1 /6.9 USA gallon tank supplied with their TT or TTSE.

I don't see how you can get 33 liters/ 8.7 US gallons in a TT tank. But I would like that. The larger the fuel tank, the better. That was one of the main reasons I bought a TTSE.

Do you think you intentionally got ripped off? Or do you think something failed somehow?

I think you might have noticed if 7 litres of fuel had leaked from the 26 litre tank and pooled around your feet!!! :005:

It is always possible that the garage pumps have not been correctly calibrated and that this was just a poor show on behalf of the garage. However, it is entirely possible swell that the delivery gauge is deliberately set to overhead to get more money in these hard times garages are having.

Either way you should bring this to the attention of your local trading standards and they can act to see if it is accidental or deliberate. There is no way a 27% error is acceptable!
