So does any one know who many cycles are need to get rid of the engine light? or do you have to get the dealer to do that? I know why it is on as didn't have something plugged in on start up.

Have you tried disconnecting the battery? It may act like a main reboot

I dont know for sure but may be worth a try

The older triumphs were 3 cycles up to hot and let cool etc.

Yes it could be 3 cycles up to full working temp. It cured my Sprint RS so it would be worth trying.

It finally went away after about 12 on offs. I only ran it for a few minutes so it never came up to temp. so now if it comes on then there should be a problem.
