Just got my Trophy
« on: November 18, 2014, 03:25:40 pm »
Hi Forum,

After many month of deliberation and search, the Triumph Trophy SE 2014 is the chosen one. I trade my Triumph Bonneville in Pensacola Fl and drove around 400 miles to Jacksonville, Fl.

The ergonomics of this bike are perfect. I was able to ride two up and non stop for almost 4 hours which is a first for me. Is interesting that while been a chronic back pain sufferer I get on the TTSE and withing minutes the pain is basically gone.

Glad to be here,

Robbie

Hi lemuriano, and  :400:  to the Club !

That sounds like an excellent add-on : "back pain relief" !

I hope your Dealer didn't charge too much extra for it !  :008:

Cheers  :821:

Hi Robbie

Glad you bought the Trophy, you will no doubt enjoy it.  I have had a disc prolapse in back for the last 8 months and was still able to ride.  Just had the back fixed about 3 weeks ago and now back on the bike albeit short stints only.

The Trophy is the best bike I ever rode.

Regards and welcome

Welcome!
I agree about the ergonomics. 20 minutes on a cruiser and my back is toast, but I can ride all day long on the Trophy with minimal breaks.
I have no issues with my Bonneville, since I got the shocks and seat sorted out.
My mother asked what I wanted to be when I grew up. I said "a biker". She said I'd have to choose one or the other.

Yep, Me too, low back pain much better now. I had to purchase a number of after-market seats and ended up with the "standard heated seat" that is only seen as standard in the European market. The low heated seat had me too confined to one position and although the standard is about an inch higher, I really like the improved range of seating choices, fore and aft as well as the extra support of a less scalloped, straighter seat profile. -Dr Ron   :400:

I got some Ikon shocks and a king & Queen seat for two up and it was great. Love the Bonneville but it was time to move on.
