Oklahoma Sooner in Texas here
« on: December 03, 2014, 09:42:09 pm »
I have been visiting this forum since i picked up my Trophy in March of this year.  Very good information but was worried about all the negative issues.  I previously had a Rocket 3 touring and loved the bike but was always wanting something less huge but did not want to give up on the power (speed) side of the experience.  Thus I bought the SE and have been very happy with how it looks and handles.  Always looking for a riding buddy in the Houston area.

Welcome to the forum

I think that you will find there are fewer negatives in this forum than most single model forums
Now got Black TTSE
Used to have Pre-Launch Trophy - lowest recorded Trophy VIN

Welcome to the forum.  I think you have a great bike  :062:

If I recall, Sugar Land is on the outskirts of Houston.. I used to live in Austin but often worked in Houston.  Those HIGHways (and they do get quite high)  used to scare me in a car never mind on a bike.

:400: to the forum.  W8d4it is in Houston, but you may have a hard time keeping up with him, he's on the go a lot for long distances.  Do the Sooners consider you a traitor yet, or do they not know you're here and need me to tell them.   :745:

Welcome to the Forum :400:I generally don't ride on the  south side of Houston because i dislike riding through the city but if you want to explore the areas north, west or east of the city let me know.

Welcome. A Sooner in Houston. I hope the hazing isn't too bad!!!

I'd love to ride with you in Houston but I haven't been there since I finished my master's degree at Rice in 1976,

All the best to you and get outside of town and put that machine though it's paces.
My mother asked what I wanted to be when I grew up. I said "a biker". She said I'd have to choose one or the other.
