Good Day Eh? fromCanada
« on: December 13, 2014, 06:56:26 pm »
Hi folks just joined the group after purchasing my new 2014 SE ( The Blue one) on last Wed evening. ( Just before we got a winter storm and a few inches of snow ( crap). Dealer is storing bike after installing heated grips and top box. Will have to wait until April to sneak a peak and have it serviced ready for delivery. Really excited, the big motorcycle show in Toronto is Jan 2 and I cant wait. ( My wife an I need new helmets and jackets and Bluetooth headset once I figure out which one, I am leaning towards Sena SMH10 low profile).

Forum seems really informative and I am happy to be here

Welcome to the group, Grant!  Hopefully, the winter is a short one for you.  FYI, I bought the Sena 20S last month at the Long Beach motorcycle show.  Haven't owned the SMH10, so I can't give any input on that kit, but the 20S has worked great so far - it's like a sound system in your ears compared to the Scala Rider Teamset Pro it replaced.  Happy shopping!

 :400: Grant.

I've ridden once in Canada, from Vancouver to Vancouver Island, then ferry to Bella Coola and back down to Kamloops and Whistler.  Had a great time on my rental Electra Glide, the hill out of Bella Coola was interesting.

Enjoy your new bike when the weathers kinder.

Later

Dave

Welcome. Relative to winter, I feel you pain. Though from the states, I live a bit farther north in Maine. I've ridden in Nova Scotia, New Brunswick and Quebec and really enjoy enjoy hit. I'll be moving to the midwest and look forward to riding in Ontario.
Let's hope for a mild winter!
My mother asked what I wanted to be when I grew up. I said "a biker". She said I'd have to choose one or the other.
