Greetings. My wife and I were in the garage when I heard what I thought was a truck outside, on the driveway. The door opened and there was a man whom I knew I'd seen before, but couldn't remember when or where. He had a helmet in his hand, and he came up to me, said "Ho, ho, ho." and handed me a key. It was only then that I noticed the Lunar silver-and-black Trophy behind him. Surprise!
This is our second Triumph, following a 2011 Bonneville T100. We've had five BMW's, four Hondas, two Kawasakis (one with a Hannigan Bandito sidecar), two Yamahas, two Suzukis, an Aermacchi Harley-Davidson, a Lambretta, a Jawa and a Gilera over the course of forty-nine years and about a quarter million miles. In all those years, the only two motorcycles that she would admit to liking were both of the Triumphs.
Almost all of my riding is done commuting to work, five days a week, in all kinds of weather, including triple-digit heat, subfreezing cold, gusty winds, rain, snow, and once, on ice. Once is more than enough.
The man with the key was Raleigh, from Eurosport Cycle.
Any questions?

Welcome. Nice Triumphs!!!
We've got the faster and more sexy Pacific blue Trophy and a 2011 T100. The wife likes them both too.
My mother asked what I wanted to be when I grew up. I said "a biker". She said I'd have to choose one or the other.

Hi Thomas and welcome to the group!  I hope you enjoy your new bike, but please don't venture too far north. I like the exclusivity of the silver Trophy in the Ventura county area!
