Hi John and welcome to the forum....  :400:

I'm ex BMW myself and you will find a lot of others in here.... I don't regret it for a minute! :152:

The forum has been going for a while so a lot of things have been discussed are there are lots of threads on many subjects...

Might be easier for you to ask any specific questions you might have... someone will have the answer.

Are you planning on buying new or used would be a good start. If used then we can certainly advise what recalls to check have been done on the bike. If new you will be pleased to know there are very few recurring problems or gremlins that seem to be bothering people. One of the longest running threads has been about batteries and rapid draining of volts. This seems to mainly have impacted guys in the US with the XM radio and seems to have been fixed by a software update.

Other than that.... just get out there and do that test ride.... you will love it.... oh,and be prepared.... once you ride it you will be smitten!
Triumph Trophy! Not for every Tomaz, Dieter or Herman!🇬🇧

Welcome to the forum!
My mother asked what I wanted to be when I grew up. I said "a biker". She said I'd have to choose one or the other.

Thanks ....    Looking at 2013 or 2014 Trophy ....   I'm going to loose a lot of money on my 2011 1200RT -  but I'm fed up with the warranty work & the corrosion on a 3 year old bike.
A friend told me to have a look at the trophy so I've booked a 'Test Ride' for next week......
Not sure if I will need to be 'Supervised' or at lease take a responsible adult with me to the dealers as I'm likely to buy one if i'm not ........LOL

Wish me luck...
It could be an expensive day out...   Gulp!!

J

Welcome John and good luck controlling the urge.  I bought mine after the first test ride.

Welcome! Funnily enough an RT owner came and talked to us about the Trophy and whether it was worth considering, particularly as the standard model is in Australia. I suppose two blue Trophys together stand out more.
