I surely hope that was an owner repair and not a shop repair. :005: Although, I have seen a cracked cylinder head repaired with JB Weld and the atv actually would run. I told the owner I wouldn't touch it with a 10' pole and was surprised he rode it for 3 months before he found it. He actually brought it back to me 2 months later when it quit and I found him a used head and fixed it right.

I don't know which astonishes me more 1) the fact he did it or 2) the fact that it actually worked for awhile.

I guess how bad you need it to work outranks how long you want it to work.  That would definitely color my decision if I happened to be in the middle of grizzly country with only 1 mode of transportation out, but that's the only scenario I can come up with at the moment.
