Sarah and I will be there Sunday on our Blue Trophy. We will probably park (space permitting) halfway down the High Street outside one of the pubs and grab lunch. If anyone is around, look us up. You cannot miss the trophy as it has blue and white Battenburg on the rear of the panniers.

If I see the blue and white battenburg I might join you. Mine will be the blue Trophy without the blue and white battenburg!

Look forward to seeing you CoJaw. There shouldn't be too many Blue trophies there.

Hi Berber!
Sorry I missed you in Matlock!
After walking the High Street and stopping at Charley's Fish Restaurant for lunch, I came back to the car park and spotted your bike! (At least I've assumed it was your bike with the blue and white panels on the panniers! Unfortunately I only had five minutes left on the  parking ticket and I noticed you still had over an hour left.
Interestingly, as I rode in to Matlock, I was followed by another blue Trophy! We parked together so I'm sure you would have seen us! His was the SE with the touring screen and mine was the standard Trophy.
I took a photo for the collection, and if you look carefully you can see your blue and white Battenburg in the distance.
Let me know when you're out and about again, perhaps we'll meet up then!

Colin

Hi Colin

We were running late so decided to park in the car park at about 1.40 and go and eat at Charleys. We didn't see your bikes I'm afraid.

Next time it should be better.

I see the bike on the right has the same problem as mine as the screen has not 'parked' (unless the ignition was still on).

I think he had started the engine when I took the photo so the screen had returned to the last position. The whole car park was enjoying his choice of music!
