Installing heated pillion seat
« on: January 30, 2015, 07:42:12 pm »
I've ordered the heated pillion seat from my dealer. Can I install this myself? I'm reasonably handy with fiddly things!

Looks like a pretty simple job. Wish triumph would just put instructions in the box when you buy there accories. Is it really that costly ????

Perhaps someone discovered that the instructions were written in Pakistan or China and didn't make sense, like so many other instructions, and decided not to include them.  :017:

I've noticed that sometimes you get instructions in 2 or 3 different languages. Triumph directs you to there web site which I quess is ok but wonder if someone didn't have a computer they would be screwed

Good point, but if that were the case, I'm sure the Dealer where the accessory was purchased from
would print the instructions out, or if not then it would be a nice ride out to a suitable Internet Cafe  :821:

Or Triumph could be more customercentric and, at a minimum,  include pictorial assembly instructions like IKEA.  Seems to work for IKEA.
