went to my local triumph dealer today and saw the trophy in black looks lovley.
assumption  is the mother of all f~~~ups

I've only seen it in photos so far, but I too wasn't impressed. Of the three TTSE colors, black would be my last choice. But if it were only in black, I would still buy it. I prefer to ride my bikes rather than to look at them, so stuff such as which color is last on my list of things to look for. Size of fuel tank and miles per tank is one of the first things I look for. Color won't help much when out of fuel 100 miles from the nearest gas station.

yes i like the blue but would not buy a silver one would have to paint it if i did its just bland

I prefer to think of my Silver TT as Mercedes F1 Silver.

I've had my black one since August.  Black is the new black and it is stunningly gorgeous.  Further, everyone knows black is beautiful and by far the fastest and best handling!
