N-COM B5
« on: February 06, 2015, 05:41:32 pm »
Hi all, I have a new B5 N-com system fitted into my Nolan helmet. I can pair my android phone to it easily. You know whats coming next...........! The Trophy won't recognise it as headset. Trys to pair on device 2, sees it and pairs but no audio into my helmet!!!! Anyone else had this problem with this kit? Keeps beeping but no audio!!!
Any suggestions (clean) would be appreciated. :157:

The Nolan B4 Plus definitely works connected by Bluetooth as HEADSET 1

I've just had a look on the Nolan Web Site,
and unfortunately the new N-COM N5 is NOT listed as being
compatible with the Trophy SE Audio system !

I would Contact Nolan and ask if they plan on releasing any Firmware updates
that will make it compatible with the Trophy any time soon  :169:

Let us know how you get on  :028:

In my previous message if you click on the underlined words "Nolan Web Site"
it will open a new Web page showing Buetooth compatability of their products
with the Trophy audio system, and B5 is not listed there.

I have sent an enquiry to Nolan about this, but in the meantime you could try again
by deleting all pairings form the Trophy, then trying again to pair the B5 as HEADSET 1,
not as DEVICE 1.

Cheers  :821:

After you've had another go trying the Bluetooth conection again,
did you spot that your presence is also requested as the latest Winner -
over in the Rolling Caption Competition" ?

Had an email from Nolan today, they want a discussion with me about possible errors with the units, will have a phone call with them on Monday to discuss issues and hopefully an outcome.
