Is there any way to have the radio off and just the sat nav working? Manual a little lack in the area. When you get bad radio reception it would be nice to turn it off so you don't get all that static when using sat nav.

You should be able to change the audio source to "NAV".  This should only use audio from the GPS.  You may need to enable "NAV" audio which is covered on page 40 & 41 in the Audio System Handbook.

When I turn my radio down the GPS still works. I think you have to take it down to mute but not radio off but not sure.
Might as well as wish we had.
