Time for Change
« on: February 16, 2015, 02:53:03 pm »
Hello all. Tractor Trev here and newbie to this forum. I am a Honda Pan European ST1100 & VFR owner and have been for many years and the time has come to find a new mate. I am due to finish work soon so me and her indoors decided we would like something more modern to continue enjoying the activity. The old Pan is a superb bike but I need something that will stop when asked, my current VFR1200 is basically rubbish, I have owned a 2006 BMW K1200S previously which was a fantastic bike until it broke and knowing several chaps who own a Triumph has edged me toward a Trophy. The idea here is to familiarize myself and purchase a new one in the not to distant future....cheers

Hi Tractor Trev and :400: to the Froum !

You're certainly in the right place to find out all you need to know about the new Model Trophy !

The Search button is a really useful tool, but if there's something specific you need to know,
and can't find the answer, then just post a question in an appropriate Section.

Here's a good place to start "reading up" : TOP TIP for New Forum Members !

If you haven't already done so, then arranging a Test Ride should be at the very top
of your list of things to do, but be warned, take your cheque book with you !  :001:

Cheers  :821:

Just out of interest what dont you like about the VFR1200? A mate of mine has one and he loves it he says he even gets 180 mile out of a tank of fuel despite what the mags say. He has had a few warranty claims though and was glad it came with a 3 year warranty.

Tractor Trev

Welcome to the forum :400:

Loads of world wide experience and comments on the Trophy. Just out of interest who would be your nearest dealer? But like Coconut said take your credit card if you go for the test ride. Think you will be smitten :008:

I have used A1Moto York who have been very good to me.
