Aftermarket tank bag
« on: February 16, 2015, 10:04:58 pm »
Hi everyone

New owner of this fantastic TTSE only a few days and starting to look at farkles.

Has anyone found an aftermarket tank bag that is fairly small (maybe 4" x 6" x 3") that will somehow mount to the gas tank. Triumph bag way too big for my needs.

Thanks for any info 😊

Dirk

No I haven't found anything. But for the love of God, if someone sends you information on something that will hold a map (if anyone remembers what the heck those are) vice something that will hold a week's worth of whatever, please let me know.  :169:

I remember!  I remember!  Although I did suffer a tragic accident once trying to fold a Garmin...   :138:

I have fitted a bagster easy road universal tank harness, you can then choose any bagster/ baglux tank bag from their range.

On my sprint I have a Kriega harness and then strap a Kriega bag to it.  I actually used to use a baglux map pocket attached to that as Kriega don't seem to do a map pocket.  I am sure when I last asked they said they were doing one.  Can't see it on the site though.

Touratech sells a Triumph Trophy tank bag that mounts just like the factory one. I bought one and love it.

Omg. That's a nice bag but for the love of god it's expensive.  Double the cost of the triumph bag.
It may not be legal but I have a Dr's note!
