Tyre feeling with low calibration
« on: February 25, 2015, 02:42:43 pm »
Hello,  some owner of Trophy have come across the feeling of low calibrated tire. My bike is rocking on the straights. The feeling is that the tire was low calibration, but checked and he was in the correct calibration. the bike shakes without any apparent cause.

Tire balance issue? Wheel or head bearing issue? I would get the dealer to check it out. My Trophy is rock solid on the highway (thats 80mph here in AZ)

Sae hear rock steady  :152:

Suggest a check of tyre pressure. 38 PSI Front and 42 PSI Rear, works for me  :169:

I'm fine with the specified standard pressure of 36 front and 42 rear.

I too experienced a strange sensation in the front wheel, went to 38 psi on the front and it went away.

Just had a new pair of tyres and running at 38 front 42 rear and it is true as a die.

jbsa176 you should get it checked out as for sure something is wrong.

I agree when I was running 36psi front the bike felt like it wanted to drop in to slow corners and it white lined in the wet. The feeling you usually get when your tyres are worn or under inflated but just raising the front 2psi to 38psi fixed all that and it now handles like a dream

Malcolm exactly the same with me  :169: That is why I recommend 38/42 in a previous post  :015:

Many have found the same  :152:
