Garmin Zumo 660 Installed on my Trophy
« on: March 07, 2015, 12:37:53 am »
Just finished installing the Garmin Zumo 660 on my TTSE.  The installation wasn't as difficult as I had feared.  The connector for the power and audio were easy to find behind the left mirror.  I used the Triumph accessory cable which made things easier.  I did solder the connections rather than use the crimp connectors on the cable.  I also put heat shrink tubing over the power connector and the audio connector.  There have been several posts on this forum that made things a little easier and I thank everyone that has posted comments on installing the GPS mounts.

Cheers

That's what the Forum is all about -

Did you also route the in-line fuse holder into the left hand mirror housing,
behind the fold out mirror glass, to make it accessible if ever the fuse blows
like many Members have done ?

Cheers,

I did route the GPS fuse behind the left mirror.  That was a good suggestion.
