Hello all! Just learned of this forum after months of seeing very limited activity on the RAT site. My 2013 trophy SE was an early model with a variety of teething issues - dead battery, charging issues, gas tank replacement, fork seal replacement but things have settled down. Love the bike but wish cockpit noise was a bit less.

Also own a 2012 Triumph Thunderbird and a 2005 Honda St1300.

Hi Slimauro, and :400: to the Club !

Shame you didn't find us earlier - we've discussed most, if not all of those issues quite extensively !

Anything else we can help with - just pick an appropriate section and ask away  :028:

Cheers  :821:

Welcome! Do you wear earplugs at all, as without them the Trophy does have noises, as does my ST1100 for that matter.  I can't stand riding with no earplugs now. I use earplugs with inbuilt sound so minimum volume and maximum quality.

I dont understand how tall are you? I stopped using earplugs when I got the Trophy If I set the screen 3/4 way up I am in total still air and no noise. The only time it is anything like as noisy as my old Tiger is when it is fully down. I dont like it fully up because I am looking through the screen and I get a draught on the back of my neck.
I did a test and rang my friend with my visor up on my Bluetooth headset at 80mph and he couldnt tell I was riding my bike. Thats how quiet the Trophy is  :152:
