Hi

Newish here to the forum , having had my Trophy SE for just under a year. Previous rides were mainly Kawasaki's, last one being the ZZR1400 , but enjoying the Trophy, which handles better than it looks like it should given the bikes I came from. From the Bedfordshire area UK.

Hi Barry and welcome.

I test rode a ZZR1400. What a smooth ride! no dips when braking either.

Did you tour on it?

Hi, I did a fair bit on it, used a Ventura Pack Rack on the back for luggage. Worked great on the ZZR, Trophy is first bike I have had with panniers

 :400: RaistlinRTCW and  :821:.

I too came from a Kawasaki, I had the GTR1400, excellent touring bike, sold it with 87,000 miles I put on from when I got it at 6,000 miles.  Although the Trophy is down a bit on back wheel HP I can hustle the Tropy better than I could on the GTR.  The Trophy is also much better on long rides.

Enjoy the forum it is a very friendly place to be.

Later

Dave
